At the end of December 2017, the company sent good news! Our company has formally received notices of winning bids for BURWOOD HIGHWAY and ALBERT PLACE projects.
The BURWOOD HIGHWAY project is located in Melbourne, Australia. It is a five-storey residential building with a curtain wall area of approximately 6000 square meters. The whole project adopts a unit curtain wall design, including flip windows and sliding doors. The overall performance requirements of the curtain wall place higher requirements on the system and engineering design. The large-scale use of decorative aluminum veneer in addition to glass for the surface material has brought higher requirements for the appearance quality control of curtain wall products. More balcony access and multiple civil structural joints in the building have brought difficulty to the unit curtain wall in the design and installation sequence of the transfer-to meet the structural transfer requirements while taking into account the watertight, airtight and telescopic requirements of the curtain wall.
The ALBERT PLACE project building is located in Melbourne, Australia. It is a residential building with a curtain wall area of 10,000 square meters and a total of 19 floors. The total height of the building is close to 60m. The complete use of the window wall structure brings certain challenges to the design of the system's wind resistance performance. At the same time, the use of structural glued glass to hide the window in the form of a hidden frame is relatively rare compared to the traditional open frame structure. The curved line and arc effect in the building facade needs to be adjusted using the window wall system, and the machining and assembly accuracy and field installation accuracy must meet higher requirements. The curtain wall and sliding door system design needs to take into account the overall performance requirements of the curtain wall. Many corners and positions of multi-directional transfer interfaces need to consider both the structure and the performance requirements of the curtain wall.
